The ND-1 is the reference DAC of the Matrix Audio N-Series. Designed for separates systems, it pairs with the NT-1 (transport) and NA-1 (headphone amp) to form an uncompromising high-end desktop stack.

Listening Impressions

Connected via IIS-LVDS to the NT-1, the ND-1 disappears behind the music. Op-Amp mode: wide soundstage, instant dynamics, micro-details upfront. Lundahl mode: warmth, roundness, an immediately seductive analogue quality on strings and vocals. Two DACs in one.
