Unison Research Unico 150: the top of the Unico range

The Unico 150 is a hybrid stereo integrated amplifier designed for high-end home Hi-Fi systems. Rated at 150W RMS per channel, it uses a dual-mono architecture combining a tube preamplifier with a transistor power stage, a configuration designed to improve channel separation and operating stability. This model sits at the top of the Unico range, with a rigid metal chassis and dedicated heat-dissipation vents in keeping with the series' design language. Designed and manufactured entirely in Italy.

The listening experience

This hybrid architecture, with just three gain stages (two tube stages and one power MOSFET stage), delivers an engaging, lively and easy listening experience that can hold your attention over long sessions without listening fatigue. The dual-mono design gives each channel its own separate signal path, favouring a more precise reconstruction of the soundstage. The result stays authoritative and controlled even with demanding speakers or complex loads, remaining predictable at sustained listening levels, with a natural, coherent tonal balance across the frequency range.
