Veritas Aperta SE: the "cost no object" version of the brand's best-seller

The original Veritas Aperta speaker cable is among Veritas's most popular models, which the brand attributes to the phenomenal performance it offers while managing to keep the price relatively sane. Veritas remains extremely proud of the Aperta and continues to feel it is the best value high-end speaker cable on the market today.

An extra ingredient (the brand's "secret ingredient") seals the deal in terms of unlocking even more resolution, openness, and frequency extension. The Aperta SE upgrades from the original design to all-new banana connectors featuring pure silver conductors, aluminum and carbon fiber shells, and a spring-loaded locking system which expands to ensure maximum signal integrity with your speaker terminals. These connectors are very similar in design and execution to those used in the Argentum interconnect series.

This listing is for the usual configuration: a 2.5m pair of Aperta SE speaker cables with locking banana connectors all around. Special builds are available by request — a matching spade connector made from pure silver with the carbon fiber/aluminum shell is also available, and Veritas can do custom lengths or even combo banana/spade designs as needed. Note that Aperta SE uses locking banana connectors, which function somewhat along the same principles as the more commonly seen locking RCA connectors. Basically you twist the barrel, which then expands the pin to make for a solid connection inside your speaker terminal.
