The Perfect Balance of Speed, Depth, and Musicality

The T/7x sits in the ideal position at the heart of REL's Serie T range. More muscle than the T/5x, yet still compact and elegant, it delivers that rare combination: the speed and delicacy for a perfect blend with your speakers, combined with the ability to produce exceptionally deep, musical bass that defies its size. One of the most balanced RELs of all time.

Listening Impressions

Connected at high level via the supplied Neutrik Speakon cable, the T/7x integrates with remarkable naturalness. Its dual architecture — active driver at the front, passive radiator firing down — gives it a transient speed and bass texture that simpler down-firing configurations struggle to match. On music, it reads the note rather than the effect: an upright bass has body, a kick drum has impact without excess. Through the dedicated LFE input for home cinema, the impact is immediate and controlled. Properly dialled in, it disappears spatially — you hear a wider, more stable soundstage, not a "bass point" in the corner.

  • Dual Music and Cinema Use: Simultaneous Hi Level Neutrik Speakon connection for stereo music + dedicated LFE input with independent volume for home theatre.
